Eric Ames joined Northwestern Mutual as a full-time representative in 1994. As a Wealth Management Advisor, his practice focuses on comprehensive financial planning, including an emphasis on family financial security, asset accumulation and distribution, and estate & business succession planning.  With 23 years of industry experience and a great team backing him up, Eric is fully equip to handle today’s toughest planning issues.

Timothy Harris started his career at Northwestern Mutual in 2004, spending his first 6 years with the company as an Associate Financial Advisor. He then spent 2 years as the Director of Investment Operations, one year as the Director of Centralized Financial Services, and has been the Associate Director of Network Office Supervision since February of 2014.

Tim obtained his Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation in 2011, Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation in 2012, Chartered Life Advisor for Senior Living (CASL®) designation in 2013, and Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) designation in 2015.

Our Disability Income Specialist assists individuals and businesses design a disability income insurance program for both individual and group needs.

Mark is a graduate of the University of Missouri and has been with Northwestern Mutual since 1994. Besides being the Disability Income Specialist, Mark is a Wealth Management Advisor as well as a member of the Northwestern Mutual Forum (2008-2010, 2012, 2013, 2015), which represents the top representatives in the company. Mark is a six-time qualifier (2000-2012) for the prestigious Master Achievement Award, which recognizes his long term commitment to his clients' financial success. The Master Achievement Award is presented to those financial representatives who reach high levels of persistency and performance.

Karen Wilund, CPA, MST

Retirement Plan Specialist

Karen’s experience ranges from developing retirement plans for small, privately owned businesses to performing due dili­gence for pension plans during mergers and acquisitions of large corporations. She also designs non-qualified deferred compensation plans, and reviews plans for compliance issues.

Karen has 31 years of industry and public accounting experi­ence and has served as a consultant for AON, one of the larg­est international employee benefit consulting firms.

Karen received her B.S. in Accounting from the University of Missouri-Columbia and her M.S. in Taxation from Font­bonne University in St. Louis. She is a licensed insurance agent, and as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants has served on the Employee Benefits Plan Committee. She is also a member of the American So­ciety of Pension Professionals & Actuaries.
